Uzi van de Gaathoeve is a promising gelding who is still relatively green but shows a great deal of potential to develop into a high-quality sport horse. This comes as no surprise when looking at his pedigree. His sire, Chacfly PS, is one of the most popular stallions in the Paul Schockemöhle program. His dam, Elite van de Padenborre, is also the dam of Las Vegas van de Padenborre, who competes at 1.60m level, and of Riesling van de Gaathoeve, who jumps at 1.50m level. Her dam, Butterfly van de Padenborre, competed herself at 1.45m level under Patrik Spits. This dam line has produced dozens of international sport horses, including Ohio van de Padenborre, Cevo Socrates, and Iron Man van de Padenborre.
