From the direct damline of Olympic gold medallist Jus de Pomme, the late Chacoon Blue is combined with the 1m60 Grand Prix mare L’Espoir d’Opaline van de Caatshoeve, herself a sister to Ipaline Degli Assi and Zeline Degli Assi, both jumping at 1m45 level, and to the dam of Maikel van der Vleuten’s Grand Prix and Dutch Championship winner O’Bailey vh Brouwershof.
This damline traces back to the famous Opaline des Pins, who produced five 1m60 Grand Prix horses, three of whom competed at the Olympic Games, including Olympic gold medal winner Jus de Pomme.
