Gianna de Talma is by Mylord Carthago out of Karla de Toscane, full sister to Olympic team gold medallist Rahotep de Toscane and the 1m60 stallion Jadis de Toscane. Karla de Toscane performed up to CSI4* 1m50 level, and has produced several performers herself, including 1m45 jumping Perle de Toscane and the 1m60 Grand Prix mare Quarela de Toscane. Granddam Fanny du Murier is regarded as one of the great French broodmares of her generation, with numerous 1m45-1m60 horses to her name, making this dam line a true reference for modern sport.
Gianna de Talma is a valuable addition to any breeding program, representing one of France’s most sought-after jumping families, and she is in foal to the 1m60 Grand Prix winner Dieu Merci van T&L due in 2026.
