Quillota LS is a particularly interesting broodmare. She herself competed at 1.45m level under José Thiry, and she is the full sister of no fewer than eight black-type horses, including Maraca LS La Silla and Manzanillo LS. The dam line is packed with black-type performers: her dam Marimba La Silla competed at 1.60m level, and further up the line we find top horses such as Russel and Coupe de Coeur.
