Carana is an attractive mare by Charaktervoll out of a daughter of First Lady, who competed successfully at 1.60m level under Achaz von Buchwald.
First Lady comes from a very good family, being the sister of no fewer than four other black-type horses, as well as a sister of High Lady, the dam of Castelino vd Helle.
