Athina Z is a beautiful chestnut mare descending from a small yet impressive Westfalen damline. Her oldest brother Curt 9 competed at 1m45 level, while her granddam is a sister to Dow Jones 23, successful at CSI4* 1m55 level under Christian Ahlmann. Great-granddam Samor was a loyal partner of Ahlmann during his junior years, together they won three Team Gold medals and an Individual Bronze at the Junior European Championships.
