Don Diego de Bornival Z is a talented 4-year-old gelding with scope and plenty of quality. These traits are strongly reflected in his exceptionally impressive pedigree. His sire, Don VHP Z, competed at 1.65m level with Harrie Smolders, while his dam, Capricia de Bornival Z, performed at 1.45m level.
The second dam, Air Lane Z, is the dam of no fewer than four black-type horses and is herself a sister to six black-type performers, including the 1.50m jumpers Fairness Hero and Eralco Hero—an outstanding achievement. His granddam, Rinnetou Z, competed at 1.60m level under Piet Raijmakers and was one of the best horses of her generation.
