Escalade 2000 Z is a son of the Olympic stallion Emerald out of none other than the Nabab de Reve mare Werly Chin. In breeding circles, Werly Chin is praised as a broodmare. She herself jumped at 1.60 m level and is the dam of no fewer than six Blacktype horses, including Diablesse de Muze, Derly Chin de Muze and Everlychin de la Pomme (dam of Kasanova de la Pomme).
